From life-critical medical devices to automotive control systems — real shipped products, across five industry verticals, with clients on five continents.
Healthcare is a life-critical segment. Effective medical device design must satisfy regulatory compliance, precise functional specifications, and the real needs of clinicians and patients. We have participated in designing a range of medical devices — from a breakthrough neonatal incubator for preterm infants to hand-held assistive devices for people with speaking and swallowing difficulties, to consumer wellness products helping people quit smoking.
The automotive world is transforming fast — vehicles are becoming networked, battery-powered, and software-defined. We have worked with clients across the automotive spectrum, developing Bluetooth modules for vehicle suspension control and for controlling water-methanol injection systems that are deployed in production vehicles worldwide. We have also contributed to architectural work on the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) computing platform.
Feeding a growing global population requires smarter, more data-driven farming. We have developed battery-powered, networked sensor systems monitoring moisture, temperature, pressure, and humidity — connected to the cloud and capable of both uploading telemetry and downloading and acting on control decisions. These systems help increase yields while reducing the resources invested.
Our portfolio includes entertainment devices, fitness accessories, and personal security products — all shipped to end consumers. From Bluetooth-enabled toy construction sets to GPS trackers designed for global deployment, we bring the same engineering rigour to consumer products that we apply to industrial and medical work.
With 68% of the global population projected to live in urban areas by 2050, smart infrastructure becomes a critical engineering challenge. Together with SmartUp Cities, we developed a waste-level monitoring system using ultrasonic sensors and AI-driven route optimization — reducing operational and environmental costs by up to 50%. We have also developed a solar charging unit for off-grid communities in sub-Saharan Africa, and worked on ground-penetrating radar systems and ballistics research platforms.
We have tackled engineering challenges across a wide range of application domains. If your industry isn't listed, reach out — we likely have relevant experience.
